London's West End Rocks to the tune of the Dream Idols

The Dream Idols have sold out every show in their new residency at Aura Mayfair since they started 2 weeks ago. Now approaching their third week at Aura and the interest shows no signs of dampening. They are sold out for the foreseeable future at Aura. The management of Dream Idols have been overwhelmed by the response to the shows and have told Global News there are still tickets available as they kept some back for each show just in case. There are not many so if you want to go contact them now.

Founder and Manager of the Dream Idols Bari Bacco has told Global News he is ‘over the moon’ with the reaction to Dream Idols and that this has been a long time coming for him after 25 years of hard work.

Now with their residency about to start at Pacha the heat is set to be turned up even higher in the West End with Dream Idols live on Thursday at Aura and Saturday at Pacha.

The Dream Idols have attracted some star names to their shows and are surprised that they have had a good audience of men too. Billy Dream Idol told Global News that ‘it seems the guys have figured out that all the hot girls are at Dream Idols so they come along too’.

Chinese star Ayi Jihu, Who was at their Aura Mayfair launch told Global News ‘The Dream Idols are so much fun to watch.’ When we asked who was her favorite she declined to say, but she is known to be friends with Dream Idol Ollie.

Now everyone is waiting for the first Dream Idol show at Pacha where they have almost sold out the 600 capacity venue. We asked Bari Bacco what he thought the differences would be between the shows at Aura and Pacha?

“Pacha is a bigger venue and we have a bigger stage and more room to maneuver. Aura is more intimate and close. Outside of that the shows will be the same. It’s all about attracting different types of people. Pacha as a brand has a huge following around the world so it’s a great step for the Dream Idols. Aura also has a great profile attracting celebrities where people can rub shoulders with them. It’s early days yet but we like the fact that our fans have a choice of two fantastic venues”.

Dream Idols give Kerry Katona the Play Boy treatment in 'Love it' Magazine shoot

It seems to us that the Dream Idols just seem to be everywhere. Well now they are with Kerry Katona for a shoot with Love it Magazine and if you have not already rushed out and grabbed your copy we can share some of the pics with you.

It’s not quite clear who thought themselves to be luckier the Dream Idols or Kerry Katona, but on the value of sheer weight of numbers I would say Kerry came out the winner.

If you want to know the full story you are just gonna have to grab the mag and read it for yourself. We can tell you a little romance was brewing on set, but who? what? and where? Well you will just have to keep watching this space.

One thing is for sure, ‘Playboy Bunnies’ just took on whole new meaning.

HRH PRINCE HARRY AND THE DREAM IDOLS EFFECT

Following his recent Las Vegas romp, many are wondering, “what Prince Harry is up to?” The pictures of Prince Harry having a good time with some friends in Vegas, and not wearing much, have been blasted all around the world.

Our thought is perhaps Prince Harry is experiencing “the Dream Idol effect.” The Dream Idols have taken the world by storm by breaking the boundaries of what a strip group should be, which as is turns out at least with the Dream Idols, is a lot more than stripping; it is touching a diverse group of lives in a positive manner.

The Dream Idols motto is, “make everyone feel good.” They go out of their way to make people happy; not just one particular, stereotypical demographic. Unlike other groups or acts of this nature there are real personalities present; real, approachable individuals that everyone can relate to. One only has to look at their last video, “Call Me Maybe,” to see that these gentlemen can engage a broad audience without taking themselves too seriously; they see the beauty in everyone and in each experience – and it is visible not only in their action, but in the reaction of those they are entertaining.

The fact that the Dream Idols take their clothes off has not drawn the majority of their fan base. It is who they are as individuals, how they work together as a group, and how they interact with everyone, that has caused them to become one of the fastest growing acts of their kind in the UK for quite some time. Only on the scene for a few months, they are already being referred in many areas as either, “The Spice Boys,” or, “The New Monkies.”

It cannot be denied that Prince Harry had a good time and some shmuck got his/her camera phone out and decided to make a quick buck. However, Prince Harry, just like anyone else, has a right to have a little fun. He is, in fact, just a young lad much like the Dream Idols and spends much of his time extending his kindness and generosity to his country and to others with grace and great sincerity. Less we forget his sterling efforts for the much heralded London Olympic Games.

The Dream Idols do what they can to bring a little fun and joy to people … and they take their clothes off. Prince Harry extends an enormous amount of time helping others and every now and then gets caught with his pants down. Although not certain if Prince Harry would ever consider joining the Dream Idols or doing a show with them, one has to really stop and ask, “would that be such a bad thing?” The Dream Idols have taken the sleaze out of strip and made it a truly uplifting experience for everyone at a time when, let us just be honest, we all need a means for another smile or bit of laughter.

Not being experts by any means, but it seems as though there might be too much emphasis placed on the negativity of all of this rather than the positive, and real aspect of the fact that we are, all of us, looking for balance in our lives. Young men will be young men. Do we judge them on the sum total of what they do and who they are, or on one or two blips? One can argue the pros and cons of a Prince of the realm and certain behaviors or perhaps naivety, additionally, one can argue the pros and cons of acts like the Dream Idols all day long. But one cannot argue that both do monumental great things for people; particularly Prince Harry. Therefore, perhaps this should all be reflection of the fact that we are all human

DREAM IDOLS and celebrities are blessed to have such a great life in show business -- we all feel very lucky to enjoy a public profile and are in a position sometimes to use that profile to help others. 

On Sunday 5th August we joined a fantastic team of celebrities to play a football match raising money for the children's ward at Frimley Park Hospital and to honour ex Wimbledon player, Kevin Cooper's family friend Irene Grinham, who was fighting the dreaded liver disease, she had months left to live.
Sadly, the day after the event, she lost her battle and passed away, so this video is in Irene's honour.

Dream Idols the ‘Spice Boys’ of Glamour capture the hearts of a nation.

As the curtain rises at the Magic Mike premiere in Londons Swanky Mayfair hotel one could be forgiven for thinking (as the Dream Idols walk out to do their thing) “OK its a movie about strippers so they hired a bunch of strippers whats the big deal?” Well Big Deal (and excuse the pun) it was, because the Dream Idols are not your average group of hunks taking their kit off. These boys have fast grown into the role of the Nations Strippers, the Spice (Girls)Boys of stripping.

It was evident far before they landed in the ITV This Morning studio with Channing Tatum that these boys had more than just sex appeal going for them. Practically every major rag had them in for a peek and they did not disappoint. What came across and what will ultimately be seen as the Genius of Bari Bacco (The founder of the Dream Idols) is that these boys where not put together simply because of their pecks or biceps but because of their characters, personality and charm. If the Monkies went into stripping they would be the Dream Idols. Not your usual bunch of snooty, chiseled self absorbed hunks, but 5 cheeky chappies one for every taste from your Latin lover to your Essex Boy there seems to be a Dream Idol to fit.

As the crowed gathered for on the streets around the Mayfair Hotel in London it was evident that some had come just to see their Dream Idol. ‘The Idolets’ [The name given by the Dream Idols to their fans] had been tweeting in force before the premiere. They wanted to see their favorite Dream Idol in the flesh and they made it clear to the press and those around what they had come to see. This in turn caused the already frenzied press to follow the noise that led directly to the Dream Idols.

The ‘paps’ are no fools, they need to eat too and none of them wanted to go back to their editors without a picture of the Dream Idols in hand. Dream Idol mania was now in full flow and it seemed most of the celebrities hungry for any exposure that is in the offing wanted a picture with the flavour of the night too. If it was not apparent already it soon became clear to everyone that the Dream Idols are a hit!

As the Paps scream for their attention and the celebrities line up for the Dream Idol photo call there is no pouting or preening from the Dream Idols and this perhaps is their real charm. There are just wide eyed smiles as 5 down to earth regular thoroughly English lads (all except our Latin lover Lorenz) Enjoy the fun that is the day. The more they are themselves the more the press, fans and celebrities take to them.

LiongsGate must have been patting themselves on the bank with glee. Whatever they paid for the Dream Idols, wasn’t enough. These boys have given them publicity way above and beyond what I’m sure even they expected.

Perez Hilton and other media notables seem almost surprised and taken back by the everyday charm and appeal of the Dream Idols. After all they are strippers right? Nope….In a time of financial depression when all the news seems to be bad news the Dream Idols represent a little light hearted fun. A moment to forget your troubles for young and old and enjoy a good old English knees up with a bit of flesh involved (Plus they choose to be referred to as Glamour dancers). Yes even the boys like em. Why because they are just like them with a few more abs showing here and there. These boys have something many people can get with at this time.

So what lies ahead for the Dream Idols? Good Question. These boys can go further than anything like them has gone before, that is for sure. I would not be surprised to see them on an American chat show or providing cameos in Hollywood movies.

The trick with the Dream Idols is that they unlike many that have gone before them, can be seen doing quite a few things. For example This Saturday they will be part of Tamer Hassans celebrity football event. The match will take place on Saturday, 21st July at 12pm at Imber Court, Metropolitan Police Sports Club, in Surrey, followed by a dinner dance and auction in the evening. An event filled with celebs and stars from Film, TV and Sport. Point proven that the Dream Idols are viewed a little differently to many that have gone before them.

The skies seem to be the limit for Dream Idols: Billy, Tommy, Ollie, Lorenz and Lewis. Hats of to Bari Bacco and his team for a job well done!
